I’m Alexis - a wife, a mom to two littles, and an engineer. I started exploring points and miles because I wanted to feel like I was getting ahead in this economy. Everywhere I looked, people seemed to have side hustles. I was constantly seeing videos of different ways to make money, but nothing felt right. I even tried selling shampoo once - but I did it poorly and never made any money.

The truth was none of the side hustles felt right. I didn’t want to have a second job, I'm already a busy mom with a full-time career. What I really wanted was for my everyday spending to work harder for me. That’s when I stumbled into the points and miles world. Most of the information I found was for the U.S, which meant I had to do a lot of my own research. But I was hooked. I kept listening to podcasts, researching, and learning. This was the opportunity I was looking for, a way to travel without needing more income or going into debt.
